SB 1.7.11
Gender transformation is possible because we are just changing outside body - clothes. Based on our desires Krishna being the most merciful gives us a body to help us fulfill those desires.
Isvara sarva bhutanam hridhese...
So long as you are mad after material engagements you will not develop mad love for Krishna.
Nashta prayeshu abhadreshu nityam Bhagavata sevaya - all the sins are almost cleared by serving Bhagavata - Book or person - both.
SB 1.7.12
परीक्षितोऽथ राजर्षेर्जन्मकर्मविलापनम् ।
संस्थां च पाण्डुपुत्राणां वक्ष्ये कृष्णकथोदयम् ॥ १२ ॥
parīkṣito ’tha rājarṣer
janma-karma-vilāpanam
saṁsthāṁ ca pāṇḍu-putrāṇāṁ
vakṣye kṛṣṇa-kathodayam
Translation
Sūta Gosvāmī thus addressed the ṛṣis headed by Śaunaka: Now I shall begin the transcendental narration of the Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa and topics of the birth, activities and deliverance of King Parīkṣit, the sage amongst kings, as well as topics of the renunciation of the worldly order by the sons of Pāṇḍu.
With our imperfect senses and intelligence, we make such machines, imagine Krishna's machinery! It will be inconceivable.
Any situation we are in, is a gift of Krishna and His mercy - be it happiness or difficulties. An advanced devotee will accept everything as Krishna's mercy and continue their devotional services.
Anywhere Krishna is acting, it is transcendental - be it dancing with gopis or fighting on battlefield.
Mad-asrayah - take direct shelter of Krishna or one of his sincere devotees. Just like electricity is transferred from powrbosue to individuals via the form of transformers in form of pure devotees.
Initiated / Sudhyanti - Purified from being mlechha or yavana.
Svabhaviki Jnana bala kriya ca - He is the perfect knowledge. (CC Madhya 18.65)
तद्विद्धि प्रणिपातेन परिप्रश्नेन सेवया ।
उपदेक्ष्यन्ति ते ज्ञानं ज्ञानिनस्तत्त्वदर्शिनः ॥ ३४ ॥
tad viddhi praṇipātena
paripraśnena sevayā
upadekṣyanti te jñānaṁ
jñāninas tattva-darśinaḥ
Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master. Inquire from him submissively and render service unto him. The self-realized souls can impart knowledge unto you because they have seen the truth.
Unless one is purified how can he can go to Goloka Vrindavan?
He is omnipotent. Omnipotency means He has gor diverse energies. We don't know by which energy He is acting at any point, but He is always acting. Prakruti and Maya are acting as per His instructions.
sṛṣṭi-sthiti-pralaya-sādhana-śaktir ekā
chāyeva yasya bhuvanāni bibharti durgā
icchānurūpam api yasya ca ceṣṭate sā
govindam ādi-puruṣaṁ tam ahaṁ bhajāmi
Translation
The external potency Māyā who is of the nature of the shadow of the cit potency, is worshiped by all people as Durgā, the creating, preserving and destroying agency of this mundane world. I adore the primeval Lord Govinda in accordance with whose will Durgā conducts herself.
There is no such thing as automatic.
Adveotee things that this adverse condition is also under the direction of Krishna. He talks everything as Krishna's mercy.

SB 1.7.16
God's dealings be it in Raas Lila or with demons is unique and incomprehensible for our blunt senses. We cannot understand it and hence often think that those are normal dealings meant for ordinary persons. And that He has fallen. He is never fallen and those dealings are for only liberated / elevated beings.
We should not enquire about purva-ashram from Sannyasi - their life and identification before taking sanyas - as it does not matter anymore and is not good etiquette. They take the acyuta gotra.
SB 1.8.36
Sankracharya -
Balas tavad kriyasaktah
Yuvakas tavad yuvati-raktah
Vrddhas tavad cinta-magnah
Parame brahmane ko 'pi na lagnah
Ramananda Raya quoted one verse from Visnu Purana when asked by LCM - what is the aim of life. "varnasramacaravata purusena
parah puman visnur aradhyate pantha
nanyat tat-tosa-karanam." The aim is to
satisfy Vishnu.
Udarendriyanam - body parts fighting against stomach. If you are not serving stomach, you are simply wasting time. Same way you are wasting time if not serving Krishna.
If you nourish your soul with KC, you are satisfied and happy.
Atah Sri Krishna-namadi na bhaved grahyam indriyaih sevonmukhe ji jihvadau svayam Eva sphuraty adah (BRS 1.2.234) - we cannot see or feel Krishna with our blunt material senses, but only by rendering service to Krishna, we can gradually understand the name, form and pastimes of Krishna.
SB Canto 1 and 2 are 2 feet of the Lord - take darshan of Lord's lotus feet. Get accustomed to seeing the padambhuja and then go up.
Canto 10 is the head. In that, Chapters 29 to 35 are the brain.

Yoga means plus and viyoga means minus.
SB 7.9.12
Very important verse. Prahlad Maharaj prays that I am born of a low family but I will still try to pray and offer services following the instructions without any doubt.
Krishna wants variety in devotees and their service too - bahunmukhi Seva. His pastimes are different with different types of devotees.
You have to serve Krishna in different ways, but not deviate from original instructions.
Everyone is here owing to their individual karma - karana guna sango sya (BG 13.22). It's only a play of material nature.
Tridanda - activities, mind and words. We need to follow instructions using Tridanda. But since we don't know how to, we need to surrender to a guru. 11.3.21
He is atma-ram or nija-labha-sarvaih, so we cannot satisfy Him. We are only satisfying ourselves. Hrishikesha hrishikena Sevanam
SB 1.7.18
An elevated devotee is not afraid of death, Old age or disease. We need to become Dheera - one who is not disturbed even when there is cause of disturbance.
देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा ।
तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति ॥ १३ ॥
dehino ’smin yathā dehe
kaumāraṁ yauvanaṁ jarā
tathā dehāntara-prāptir
dhīras tatra na muhyati

As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.

मात्रास्पर्शास्तु कौन्तेय शीतोष्णसुखदुःखदाः ।
आगमापायिनोऽनित्यास्तांस्तितिक्षस्व भारत ॥ १४ ॥
mātrā-sparśās tu kaunteya
śītoṣṇa-sukha-duḥkha-dāḥ
āgamāpāyino ’nityās
tāṁs titikṣasva bhārata
O son of Kuntī, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of winter and summer seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed.
One suffers because of contact with the material world via senses. We need to focus on spiritual education to reduce this effect of material world and become Dheera.
Guru is not a fashion, it's a necessity for spiritual education.
ŚB 11.3.21
तस्माद् गुरुं प्रपद्येत जिज्ञासु: श्रेय उत्तमम् ।
शाब्दे परे च निष्णातं ब्रह्मण्युपशमाश्रयम् ॥ २१ ॥
tasmād guruṁ prapadyeta
jijñāsuḥ śreya uttamam
śābde pare ca niṣṇātaṁ
brahmaṇy upaśamāśrayam
Therefore any person who seriously desires real happiness must seek a bona fide spiritual master and take shelter of him by initiation. The qualification of the bona fide guru is that he has realized the conclusions of the scriptures by deliberation and is able to convince others of these conclusions. Such great personalities, who have taken shelter of the Supreme Godhead, leaving aside all material considerations, should be understood to be bona fide spiritual masters.
This material world's constitutional position is of darkness and Krishna is the light.
ŚB 10.14.58
समाश्रिता ये पदपल्लवप्लवं
महत्पदं पुण्ययशो मुरारे: ।
भवाम्बुधिर्वत्सपदं परं पदं
पदं पदं यद् विपदां न तेषाम् ॥ ५८ ॥
samāśritā ye pada-pallava-plavaṁ
mahat-padaṁ puṇya-yaśo murāreḥ
bhavāmbudhir vatsa-padaṁ paraṁ padaṁ
padaṁ padaṁ yad vipadāṁ na teṣām
For those who have accepted the boat of the lotus feet of the Lord, who is the shelter of the cosmic manifestation and is famous as Murāri, the enemy of the Mura demon, the ocean of the material world is like the water contained in a calf’s hoof-print. Their goal is paraṁ padam, Vaikuṇṭha, the place where there are no material miseries, not the place where there is danger at every step.
Jaha Krishna tahan nahi mayara adhikar. Take shelter of the lotus feet of Krishna which is like a boat that will help us Cross this material ocean of darkness.
Since we have forgotten KC and don't even know when, vedas are here to help us know Him and understand Him.
SB 1.7.19
Chanting sound vibrations are not material, but spiritual and transcendental.
CC Madhya 17.133
nāma cintāmaṇiḥ kṛṣṇaś
caitanya-rasa-vigrahaḥ
pūrṇaḥ śuddho nitya-mukto
’bhinnatvān nāma-nāminoḥ
“ ‘The holy name of Kṛṣṇa is transcendentally blissful. It bestows all spiritual benedictions, for it is Kṛṣṇa Himself, the reservoir of all pleasure. Kṛṣṇa’s name is complete, and it is the form of all transcendental mellows. It is not a material name under any condition, and it is no less powerful than Kṛṣṇa Himself. Since Kṛṣṇa’s name is not contaminated by the material qualities, there is no question of its being involved with māyā. Kṛṣṇa’s name is always liberated and spiritual; it is never conditioned by the laws of material nature. This is because the name of Kṛṣṇa and Kṛṣṇa Himself are identical.’

SB 1.7.20-21
If you keep yourselves warm by being near fire of Krishna then the cold or material world cannot affect you. But we need to chant offenselessly.
Don't wait for another life, finish your business in this life even though Krishna gives guarantee in BG.

प्राप्य पुण्यकृतां लोकानुषित्वा शाश्वती: समा: ।
शुचीनां श्रीमतां गेहे योगभ्रष्टोऽभिजायते ॥ ४१ ॥
prāpya puṇya-kṛtāṁ lokān
uṣitvā śāśvatīḥ samāḥ
śucīnāṁ śrīmatāṁ gehe
yoga-bhraṣṭo ’bhijāyate
The unsuccessful yogī, after many, many years of enjoyment on the planets of the pious living entities, is born into a family of righteous people, or into a family of rich aristocracy.
SB 1.5.17
bhajann apakvo ’tha patet tato yadi
yatra kva vābhadram abhūd amuṣya kiṁ
ko vārtha āpto ’bhajatāṁ sva-dharmataḥ
Translation
One who has forsaken his material occupations to engage in the devotional service of the Lord may sometimes fall down while in an immature stage, yet there is no danger of his being unsuccessful. On the other hand, a nondevotee, though fully engaged in occupational duties, does not gain anything.
There is no good profession in material world, everything is bad as the material world itself is bad. Stool is dry at top and moist inside. It is bad in any case.
SB 1.7.22
Apavarga - lack of different stages of suffering while pavarga is different types of suffering.
Pa - parishram - you don't get without hard labour
Fa - fenam - foam - when you work very hard you get foam from your mouth
Ba - frustration - vyarthata
Bha - bhaya - fearfulness
MA - mrityu - death
Vaishnava aparadh is severe as we understand from Ambarish Maharaj pastime - Durvasa Muni also wasn't spared - someone who can travel at will across all realms and planets.
SB 1.7.23
Any activity that's not offered to or in service of Krishna is sinful activity. Give up all activities considered pious or impious if it's not in service of Krishna.

Grihasthashram - purpose is to improve spiritual life. Grihamedhi or grihavrata - focused only on sense gratification.
It's a personal journey. Aeroplane Analogy - another plane cannot help you while its flying.
Screw and machine. Screw has no value alone, but when attached to a machine it can become valuable. Same way if we are attached to Maya we have no value. only if we are attached and associated With Krishna that's when we have some value. Finger and body Analogy.
Saubhari Muni - Fish sex - king 50 daughters - elevated husband - back to forest and tapasya.
Ordinary men > karmis > jnanis > yogis > Bhakta
Like sugar is sweet and chilly is spicy, taste is dharma of soul.
Hrishikena Hrishikesha sevan Bhaktir ucyate.
Mukti - freedom from this conditioned life.
Janma karma me divyam...
Bg. 4.9
जन्म कर्म च मे दिव्यमेवं यो वेत्ति तत्त्वतः ।
त्यक्त्वा देहं पुनर्जन्म नैति मामेति सोऽर्जुन ॥ ९ ॥
janma karma ca me divyam
evaṁ yo vetti tattvataḥ
tyaktvā dehaṁ punar janma
naiti mām eti so ’rjuna
Translation
One who knows the transcendental nature of My appearance and activities does not, upon leaving the body, take his birth again in this material world, but attains My eternal abode, O Arjuna.
SB 1.7.25
CC Madhya 17.136
ataḥ śrī-kṛṣṇa-nāmādi
na bhaved grāhyam indriyaiḥ
sevonmukhe hi jihvādau
svayam eva sphuraty adaḥ
Translation
“ ‘Therefore material senses cannot appreciate Kṛṣṇa’s holy name, form, qualities and pastimes. When a conditioned soul is awakened to Kṛṣṇa consciousness and renders service by using his tongue to chant the Lord’s holy name and taste the remnants of the Lord’s food, the tongue is purified, and one gradually comes to understand who Kṛṣṇa really is.’
Sadhu sanga is critical for self realization. No imagination or interpretation, with the help of Sadhu we can sense Krishna.
Each avatar comes for a purpose - protection of devotees and annihilation of demons.
A dead body is heavier than a live one. When you are engaged in material Consciousness you are like a dead body - making it heavier on earth. That's when Krishna comes to balance it out.
ŚB 12.3.51
कलेर्दोषनिधे राजन्नस्ति ह्येको महान् गुण: ।
कीर्तनादेव कृष्णस्य मुक्तसङ्ग: परं व्रजेत् ॥ ५१ ॥
kaler doṣa-nidhe rājann
asti hy eko mahān guṇaḥ
kīrtanād eva kṛṣṇasya
mukta-saṅgaḥ paraṁ vrajet
Translation
My dear King, although Kali-yuga is an ocean of faults, there is still one good quality about this age: Simply by chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahā-mantra, one can become free from material bondage and be promoted to the transcendental kingdom.
SB 1.7.27
Vigraha - belief that Lord exists and you lovingly worship and serve
Galagraha - disbelief in the Deity / statues and serving with a feeling of burden
You need to have bhaav while serving Krishna otherwise you are a Kanishtha adhikari and on material platform.
9 stages of Bhakti -
- sraddha: faith - firm faith in Krishna's words and instructions
- sadhu-sanga: association with devotees
- bhajana-kriya: performance of devotional service
- anartha nivrtti: decreasing of unwanted attachments
- nistha: steadiness
- ruci: taste
- asakti: attachment
- bhava: love
- prema: pure love for Krsna
SB 1.7.28-29
Material energy cannot develop without spiritual energy.
From the Vedas tou can get both types of knowledge - material and spiritual.
CC Madhya 20.117
kṛṣṇa bhuli’ sei jīva anādi-bahirmukha
ataeva māyā tāre deya saṁsāra-duḥkha
Translation
“Forgetting Kṛṣṇa, the living entity has been attracted by the external feature from time immemorial. Therefore the illusory energy [māyā] gives him all kinds of misery in his material existence.
Violence is only in the material world, not spiritual world.
Anything we experience, everything is in Krishna too. He is the reservoir of all the rasaas.
The whole world is full of rasaas - 12 of them.
Adi-ras - conjugal love / sex life
Everything is fair when it's utilised in Krishna's service, and same thing for sense gratification is abominable.
Bg. 9.32
māṁ hi pārtha vyapāśritya
ye ’pi syuḥ pāpa-yonayaḥ
striyo vaiśyās tathā śūdrās
te ’pi yānti parāṁ gatim
Translation
O son of Pṛthā, those who take shelter in Me, though they be of lower birth – women, vaiśyas [merchants] and śūdras [workers] – can attain the supreme destination.
SB 1.7.30-31
Saamvartaka fire happens at the time of annihilation.
Energy is always there - sometimes it's manifested in the material world and other times it's not.

Effects of Kalyuga / upadrava -
- Slow in processing
- short life Duration
- higher propensity to commit sins
- Dumb / less intelligent
- Unfortunate
- Enmity towards each other increases
Chanakya Pandit - a debtor father is a enemy. A characterless mother is also enemy. A beautiful wife is enemy too. And if a son is without education, he is enemy too.
Jagat is not mithya, but our behaviour and actions are mithya. Isopanisad 1
Do not reject anything, but figure out how to utilise in Krishna's service.
SB 1.7.34-35
Brahmana is not the body, but the quality. One becomes Brahmana by his activities and behaviour.

Bg. 18.42
शमो दमस्तप: शौचं क्षान्तिरार्जवमेव च ।
ज्ञानं विज्ञानमास्तिक्यं ब्रह्मकर्म स्वभावजम् ॥
Peacefulness, self-control, austerity, purity, tolerance, honesty, knowledge, wisdom and religiousness – these are the natural qualities by which the brāhmaṇas work.
A brahmana tolerates as much as he can, but does not retaliate. When things are out of control, he will take help of a Kshatriya. (titiksha)
SB 1.7.36-37
Prammat - Nothing you do and/or possess in material world is going to save you from janma, mrityu, jara or vyadhi.
There is nothing that can give you security against anything in this material world. Applying cow stool is not giving to shield you from Yamaraj. Savitri managed to save Satyavan, but not every woman can be chaste like Savitri.
Bhakti Yoga means vairagya - no attachment for anything in this material world. Only focus is Krishna.
ŚB 2.1.4
देहापत्यकलत्रादिष्वात्मसैन्येष्वसत्स्वपि ।
तेषां प्रमत्तो निधनं पश्यन्नपि न पश्यति ॥ ४ ॥
dehāpatya-kalatrādiṣv
ātma-sainyeṣv asatsv api
teṣāṁ pramatto nidhanaṁ
paśyann api na paśyati
Persons devoid of ātma-tattva do not inquire into the problems of life, being too attached to the fallible soldiers like the body, children and wife. Although sufficiently experienced, they still do not see their inevitable destruction.
Krishna is the only one who can give you Shelter and is our ever friend.
Bg. 5.29
भोक्तारं यज्ञतपसां सर्वलोकमहेश्वरम् ।
सुहृदं सर्वभूतानां ज्ञात्वा मां शान्तिमृच्छति ॥ २९ ॥
bhoktāraṁ yajña-tapasāṁ
sarva-loka-maheśvaram
suhṛdaṁ sarva-bhūtānāṁ
jñātvā māṁ śāntim ṛcchati
A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries.

Who requires a guru?
One who is interested in inquiring about Brahman. - Brahma Jigyasa
ŚB 11.3.21

ahaṅkāra-vimūḍhātmā

Translation
The spirit soul bewildered by the influence of false ego thinks himself the doer of activities that are in actuality carried out by the three modes of material nature.
2 kinds of objectives -
Preya - instant satisfaction / results / benefits (karma bandhana)
Sreya - future benefits
We are meant for Sreya, but we are more interested in Preya.
Guur can save you from Karma Bandhan and make you Karma mukt.
SB 1.7.40
We should conduct our duties considering the effect of executing them.
Bhagavat Bhakt acts in such a way that nobody can complain.
SB 3.25.13
Perfection of yoga is not to get distressed by material troubles and
What is happiness for someone one can be distress for others. In that case the happiness is material and just an illusion.
Material happiness is relative -
- Water is happiness in summer and in winter it's distress.
- Love son is happiness and dead son is distress.
- Fireworks are happiness for some and distress for others.
Material world is duality. You cannot happiness without distress and vice versa. Hence this material world is relative.
Spiritual world is above this duality and hence absolute.
Yoga adhyatmikah - happiness of the soul when connected with the super soul. Our real happiness is when we enjoy with the supreme being.
Supreme being doesn't have a material body. BG 4.6
Krishna's birth is also not ordinary, it's Divya, transcendental.
We are small sparks and with Krsna as the original fire, we are illuminated and alive. If we fall away from the fire, we are extinguished.

There are 4 deficiencies in the material world -
- We commit mistakes
- Cheating propensity
- Illusion
- Imperfect senses

Krsna knows everything but we don't understand God. BG 7.26
You simply speak what Krsna had spoken and you can become a Guru.
This is the prime business - to connect your soul again with thr super soul. Yoga adhyatamikah pumsam.
Disconnection is not possible, but we have forgotten (yoga maya).
First we have to understand what is the soul and then we can work on the forgetfulness.
According to the body, we get happiness and distress. Happiness for a dog is different from that of a king.

Spiritual Master is Krishna's mercy manifestation for developing his KC and therefore He is external manifestation of Csitya Guru.

SP wasted time from 25 to 70. He did not forget the message that was given at the age of 25.
Whatever respect, or offerings during Vyasa Puja goes to Krishna through the Parampara system as the mercy and knowledge has flows through the same system as He is the oirignal spiritual master.
Vyasadev is the compiler of all the Vedic Literature and hence it's called Vyasa Puja.

Everyone can become a Spiritual Master. It is very easy if you simply present what you learnt from your Spiritual Master, you can become one. Simply present as it is. Don't try to become oversmart or over spiritual.

Turning Asuras into Suras
One who understands the real problems of life - janma, mrtyu, jara, vyadhi and the real goal of life are Suras.
Pravrtti and nivritti - accepting or rejecting something based on natural tendencies. We need to learn what we should accept or reject based on principle of whether it will help in devotional service or not.
Pleasure is just absence of suffering.
Vishnu bhakta daiva...

#SPanalogy we are kids of Krishna who has all opulences, but we are loitering in this material world looking for these opulences which are available in abundance in His house - the spiritual world. All we need to do is realise who is our real father and take His shelter.
Ignorance is the cause of breaking the law, or sinful activities. And as soon as you commit some sinful activity, you have to suffer the result. So the whole world is in ignorance, and due to ignorance he's complicated in so many actions and reactions, either good or bad.
